The Seasons

I bid goodbye to summer
With it’s lovely flowers and bees
Along with the happy hours I have spent
Beneath its shady trees

Autumn leaves are falling
Carpeting the ground
Winter days will soon be here
Leaves are turning brown

Weary flowers bow their heads
God so wise knows best
So new little flowers must say
Goodbye and rest

The leafless trees through Winter stand
Like tail and stately queens
To awake them in the Springtime
To a fairy-land of green

  1. Hey Bruce,

    How you doing?

My first email of the day 😊 what better way to start!!

Love this blog, as much as I hate to say hooray to Summer, this sums it up nicely and not only that it gives us an insight that they too need a rest 😊

Shona has had to move home to work, so not sure if this week she will make a catch up. Everyone here is being urged to work from home, like a ghost town currently and Manila is not able to work so everyone stretched.

Sonia has texted overnight that she wants to organise herself in case the coronavirus becomes a human to human contact and has to stay isolated for 2 weeks…

    Your thoughts?

Take care and look forward to catching up soon. 😊
